About Alexa

Alexa is a senior at Champlain College majoring in Professional Writing with a focus in Creative Writing. She currently holds an overall 4.0/4.0 GPA, and interns with Champlain College’s Marketing Media Team. Her past experience includes working as a writer and editor for University of Rock, a music blog; and interning with Platinum Artist Management, a music management company based in Long Island, New York. Alexa plays the bass guitar, and loves helping fellow artists gain traction in the music industry through her reviews, which can be found under the blog tab.
Alexa also enjoys writing and reviewing novels and poetry. Her poem, “They’ll Tear it Down” appeared in Pinnacle Anthology in spring 2019, and “Hot & Sour Soup,” “50¢ a Cup,” and “The End” are set to appear in Willard & Maple in May. Alexa is also excited to premiere her debut nonfiction poetry book, Troubles, in May 2021. Alexa is currently unrepresented, but is in the market for someone who is excited about her writing.
