Alexa is a senior at Champlain College majoring in Professional Writing with a focus in Creative Writing. In the fall, she is excited to join The New School’s Creative Writing MFA program with dual concentrations in Poetry and Writing for Children & Young Adults. Alexa currently holds an overall 4.0/4.0 GPA, and interns with Champlain College’s Marketing Media Team. Her past experience includes working as a writer and editor for University of Rock, a music blog; and interning with Platinum Artist Management, a music management company based in Long Island, New York. Alexa plays the bass guitar, and loves helping fellow artists gain traction in the music industry through her reviews, which can be found under the blog tab.

Alexa also enjoys writing and reviewing novels and poetry. Her poem, “They’ll Tear it Down” appeared in Pinnacle Anthology in spring 2019; “Hot & Sour Soup,” “50¢ a Cup,” and “The End” were published in Willard & Maple in May 2021; “Bowl or No Bowl” was featured in the first issue of Sage Soup in 2021; “The Guy Who Stabbed Jesus,” “Blue Jeans,” “Control Freak,” and “A Quaint Little Tragedy” were chosen for The Empty Magazine in 2021; and “God Spoke to Me Through the Car Stereo” has been selected for the spring 2021 issue of The Bryant Literary Review. Alexa is also excited to premiere her debut nonfiction poetry book, Troubles, in May 2021. Alexa is currently unrepresented, but is in the market for an agent who is excited about her writing.
